Holy moly where does the time go???? My not so little (dude is in the 99.86% for height and 99.18% in weight. He's gargantuan!) man turned 5. We had a great weekend celebrating with family! There was a hot air balloon festival so we got to watch the glow one evening then got up early one morning to watch them launch. It was a great weekend....that of course involved cake :) Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

That cake is awesome! Did you make it? I've always wanted to take a ride in a hot air balloon. Did you get to ride one while you were there?
Thanks for the kind comments! Yes I made the cake and no :( we did not get to ride in a hot air balloon. The kids wanted to badly and they missed an opportunity to take a tethered ride when they were with their dad one weekend. I was hoping we'd be able to make up for that this go around but no such luck. I've looked into it around our area. There are several companies that do rides. But they cost a pretty penny. Maybe one day :)
